1,200 BPH Fruit Wine Filling Line
As TRINUS expands production and targets the U.S. market, Los Tarascos Grupo is establishing its own fruit wine production and filling facility in Puebla, Mexico.
Project Overview
The customer plans a 1,200 BPH fruit wine filling line for 350 mL and 1 L bottles, designed to handle fruit pulp while ensuring reliable filling and capping.
Main production configuration:
- Capacity: 1,200 BPH
- Bottle Sizes: 350 mL / 1 L
- Product: Fruit wine with small pulp particles
- Main Material: 304 stainless steel
- Contact Parts: 316L stainless steel
- Filling Accuracy: ±1%
- Operators: 2–3
- Filler: 4-head filling machine with agitation
- Capping: Automatic crown capping + press capping
- Downstream: Self-adhesive labeling + bottle collection
- Agitation: Variable-speed mixing hopper
- Feeding: Feed pump + level alarm
- Protection: Cap shortage alarm
- Safety: Guards for filling, capping & labeling units
- Line Length: Approx. 9 m
Project Challenge
Each production challenge led to a specific change in the final equipment plan.
Challenge 1 : Fruit Pulp Could Settle During Filling
The wine contains small fruit particles that can settle, making even pulp distribution difficult during filling.
Our Solution: Adjustable-speed Mixing Hopper
BRENU added adjustable-speed agitation to help keep pulp evenly distributed as product feeds into the filling system.
- Mixing speed adapted to the product
- 4-head filling machine with agitation
Challenge 2 : The Product Tends to Foam During Filling
Foaming needed to be addressed in the filling design to support a more consistent process.
Our Solution: Filling Heads Optimized for the Product
BRENU upgraded the filling heads for the fruit wine’s characteristics, with the aim of reducing foam during filling.
- Upgraded filling heads
- Feed pump and level alarm included in the final configuration
Challenge 3 : Higher Material and Safety Requirements
With plans to enter the U.S. market, TRINUS requested upgrades to product-contact materials, hygiene and operator protection.
Our Solution: 316L Contact Parts & Equipment Guards
BRENU refined the proposal through two rounds of updates based on the customer’s factory-visit feedback.
- 316L stainless steel for key product-contact parts
- 304 stainless steel main structure
- Protective covers for filling, capping and labeling
Challenge 4 : A New Factory Needed a Coordinated Line Layout
The Puebla facility was still under construction. Equipment placement, product flow, piping and electrical connections needed to be planned together.
Our Solution: On-site Planning by BRENU’s Mexico Team
BRENU’s CEO and Mexico team visited the factory to review site conditions and refine the line plan.
- Approx. 9 m planned line layout
- Coordinated equipment, piping and electrical planning
- Mexico-based technical and after-sales support
The final solution was customized for fruit wine containing pulp and supports 1,200 BPH production with 350 mL and 1 L bottles.
Key project outcomes include:
- Customized Filling: Designed specifically for fruit wine with pulp particles.
- U.S. Market Preparation: Upgraded equipment materials, product-contact parts, and safety protection to support future U.S. production and export requirements.
- Project Confirmation: Contract signed in September 2026, moving the project into the implementation stage.
- Localized Support: BRENU combines its China factory, Mexico branch, and local engineering team to provide support from line design and site assessment to installation and after-sales service.
This service model gives TRINUS faster technical response and reliable local support as it expands production in Mexico and prepares for the U.S. market.
The Result: Customized Solution Confirmed,Contract Signed
